General Hospital: Why Did Kim End Up Coming To Port Charles?

General Hospital’s Dr. Kim Nero (Tamara Braun) just happened to take a job in Port Charles where not only Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) but her ex-lover Drew Cain (Billy Miller) both now reside.

Isn’t it A Bit Ironic?

Could this really be a coincidence or was it a setup?  General Hospital fans never got the back story on how Kim ended up in Port Charles, but we know she investigated the Quartermaines as part of Oscar’s (Garren Stitt) family.

Kim also investigated Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Carly because of Josslyn (Eden McCoy) and Oscar, however, she didn’t seem to know anything about Jason or his old face. Isn’t it a bit ironic that Jason would not come up in either research, especially Drew’s accident that was supposedly Jason?

A Bit Too Friendly With Jason

If Kim did the investigating that she said she did, Jason Morgan would have had to come up in regard to Sonny Corinthos. If Jason Morgan came up, then the facial reconstruction would have been mentioned as well.

So maybe Kim was acting like she didn’t know this information when she approached Jason at Sonny’s and called him Drew.

Could Kim Have Worked With Faison

Faison had to find Drew somehow and finding him by accident just doesn’t seem plausible. What if Kim did her research in 2012 and found information on Jason Morgan.

Jason Morgan’s DNA would be in the FBI system because he was in Pentonville with Michael. Jason obviously had Drew’s face at the time and she would have to wonder if they were related. Kim gets Jason’s DNA and runs it proving he is Jason’s twin, someone had to run the DNA test for Faison.

Peter, Kim, and Faison could have approached Drew and encouraged him to take what was his. Drew could have easily been persuaded to go after Jason and take over his life. Kim could have been instrumental in Drew’s agreement to the brain mapping.

How Could Kim Possibly Not Know Julian?

There is also no possible way that Kim would not know who Julian Jerome is. Anyone who searches for Sonny Corinthos will find all of his enemies as well as his business information.

It is impossible to look up anything about Sonny without a mention of Julian Jerome, especially since they both have a daughter with Alexis. It seems more likely that Kim is lying about not knowing Julian to cover her involvement in this whole Drew and Jason situation.

I mean honestly, what is the point in Kim’s character if she is as straight-laced as she appears to be? Kim would be much more interesting if she had an evil, manipulated side.
