General Hospital Valentin and Nina Can Their Love Survive – Is Love Enough?

Fans of General Hospital (GH) Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Valentin (James Patrick Stewart) are hoping that the couple can survive.  However, Valentin’s betrayal is going to make it very difficult.  If a couple that will last is one who shares fundamental values, beliefs, interests, and goals, then this couple is doomed to fail.

Valentin And Nina’s Whirlwind Romance

Valentin and Nina had a whirlwind romance and literally got married on the spur of the moment. Although they have had an amazing love story, Valentin continues to make mistakes and Nina continues to forgive them. However, Nina has now decided to file for divorce because Valentin wasn’t honest about Peter. (Wes Ramsey)

Could Valentin Have Saved Nathan?

Can Nina really be blamed for her brother’s (Ryan Paevey) death being the last straw? The mere mention of Peter’s true identity could have saved Nathan’s life. If everyone knew the truth, Peter could have been arrested by the WSB and questioned and would have been nowhere close to Port Charles. Would Faison have been in Port Charles if Peter wasn’t? Peter is the one who lured him there by publishing the article on Nathan and Valentin could have stopped that but didn’t.

Valentin Has Lied To Nina Often

Honestly, Valentin has lied to Nina on and off since they first met. If you remember, the first time there were together he was using the name Theo and plotting to try to kidnap Spencer. However, Can Nathan’s death be the final straw that breaks & the legitimate reason Nina is done with Valentin? Men have done worse. Julian tried to decapitate Alexis. She’s seeking Kevin to diagnose why she can’t stay away from “bad boys”.

Sometimes Love, Just Ain’t Enough”

It is obvious that Valentin loves Nina but she has forgiven him so much already, is it possible to forgive him more? Does Valentin deserve another chance? There is no denying Nina deeply loves Valentin. Is Nina strong enough to resist his persistent need to have her back in his arms. Fans are at odds over Valentin in most aspects, either you love the man or you hate him, there is no in between. Only time will tell if Nina has a chance of heart, most of us will be watching to see where they go from here.
