General Hospital Stars Join Fight To Bring Genie Francis Back To GH

General Hospital fans are still reeling from the news that Genie Francis has been bumped from GH, and to say that they are not happy about it is an understatement.  Several petitions are floating around the internet, begging TPTB to reconsider keeping Laura on the canvas.

Now, it’s not just General Hospital fans rallying to support Genie, some of her fellow cast members are speaking out on social media as well.

William deVry took to Twitter to comment on the casting news.  Kimberly McCullough [Robin Scorpio Drake] was also shocked by the news and reached out to Genie to be a shoulder to lean on.

Another GH leading lady joined the fight, Tonja Walker posted, “It’s tough being on recurring when you are used to full-time status.  It’s terrible for Genie Francis, but if you keep up all the noise, maybe TPTB will listen. We love you all! I pray Genie gets back ASAP.”
