General Hospital Star Tamara Braun Shares Great News With Her Fans

General Hospital alumni Tamara Braun has a new reason to celebrate and she’s sharing it with her fans. She’s celebrating the 17th anniversary of her first taping of the hit ABC daytime television show. Viewers remember Tamara best as her original role of Carly Corinthos.

According to reports, Tamara has every reason to be excited about this very special milestone. After all, there aren’t many television actors out there that can call one place home for almost two decades. Fortunately for Tamara, her fans love her so much, that she returned to General Hospital after a brief hiatus to play her current role as Kim Nero.

Tamara shared on her Twitter account, “17 years ago today I taped my first scenes on @GeneralHospital I know this because it was a day that changed both my and my dear friend Gail’s life. She gave birth to her first child. I gave birth to Carly #2. Happy birthday Julia! Thanks, GH and fans for always being so kind.”

She’s also managed to successfully make the transition to other daytime soaps, too. She played Ava Vitali and Taylor Walking on NBC’s Days of Our Lives and Reese Williams on All My Children. She also recently starred in the television show Stalked by My Ex, Abduction of Angie, Dead Trigger and more. If that weren’t enough, she also had guest spots on Saving Grace, Castle, and Supernatural.
