General Hospital Star Scarlett Fernandez Suffers Scary Injury, Asks Fans For Help

General Hospital star Scarlett Fernandez recently revealed that she faced a rather scary ordeal! The young actress, who is best known for her role as Charlotte on the hit ABC series, was rushed to the hospital only a few short days after she made her local gymnastics team.

The injury was unrelated to the sport, but has her sitting out for the next several weeks, nonetheless. Even though she was initially bummed about having to skip out on gymnastics, Scarlett is still in overall good spirits.

She shared several photos from the hospital and captioned it with, “Just 3 days after I make the gymnastics team I fall and break my clavicle. Found out today I don’t need surgery! Need ideas for low key things to do while my friends are at the pool!”

Scarlett isn’t the only young General Hospital star that is has been in a cast these days. Her co-star Brooklyn Rae Silzer suffered her own injury while she was playing soccer and is now stick in a cast for four weeks.

Now, as far as when fans will be seeing Scarlett back on the small screen, it doesn’t look like it’s going to happen anytime soon. The actress wrote, “It has been very painful, and I can’t do ANYTHING active for at least two months…”

Here’s hoping that she will have a speedy and of course painless recovery! It’s without a doubt that her fans miss seeing her in action in Port Charles. Fingers crossed that she gets better real soon.
