General Hospital Star Matt Cohen Working With Wife Mandy Musgrave In New Film

General Hospital star Matt Cohen is set to direct his wife Mandy Musgrave in a new project that they are working on together. According to reports, the daytime television actor is working on a film called Mama Bear, thanks to a crowdfunding campaign that he has launched with the help of Indiegogo. Matt is best known for his role as Griffin on General Hospital.

Matt revealed his exciting news to the site Nerds and Beyond. The film will be written by Lee Ehlers. The actor said that the lead character in his short film “has 24 hours to save her four-year-old and find him a liver transplant, and the only viable donor is the ex-kingpin/drug lord/piece of s*** boyfriend of hers.”

Other cast members in the project include Rob Benedict, Richard Speight, Jr., Kim Rhodes, Briana Buckmaster, Jason Manns, Jim Beaver, and Adam Fergus. Many fans remember Matt’s wife Mandy from her role as Chelsea Benson on Days of Our Lives, a role that she had back in 2004 and 2005. She also played Ashley Davis on South of Nowhere and Dakota on Cowgirl Up.

Matt also added that he is hoping that his short film will turn into a feature-length film in the future. Of course, it’s without a doubt that his General Hospital fans will support him every step of the way.
