Lisa took to her Twitter account to share the news with her fans. Her dog, Aimee, passed away suddenly at the age of 13. She captioned a sweet throwback photo with, “Your birthday wishes are warming my heart on this strange birth day.. we lost our beloved dog Sister Aimee this afternoon. We won’t forget you beauty.. thank you for 13 great years.. RIP.”
It didn’t take very long for Lisa’s fans and followers to share their support during this very emotional time for her. A few wrote messages of condolences that included, “So Sorry to hear about http://Aimee.So difficult to lose a member of the family.They give us so much love and are always there for us. All they want back is our love and to be taken care of. I’m sure Aimee had a beautiful life.”
Another fan wrote, “Aww Lisa I’m so very sorry! Our furry family members are so special and always hold a place in our hearts. Big hugs to you and your family.”

What’s more, she also said that her son shared a news article with her that was especially touching. She revealed that Pope Francis just said that yes, dogs can go to heaven. We are sending lots of love to Lisa and her entire family during this trying time.
