General Hospital Star Leslie Charleson Speaks Out About Monica Quartermaine Recast

General Hospital spoilers and comings and goings revealed earlier this week that GH icon Leslie Charleson was taking a break from the ABC soap opera while she recuperates from a nasty fall.

According to General Hospital spoilers, the role of Monica Quartermaine has been temporarily recast, and will be played by Bad Seed star Patty McCormack.

Since the news broke of the recast, General Hospital fans have flooded social media with concerns and well wishes for our beloved Leslie Charleson.

The fan favorite finally spoke out about her medical issues, and took to social media to thank every one for all of their support.  Have no fear GH fans, Leslie’s exit is NOT permanent and she will be back!  Check out what she had to say!
