General Hospital Star Genie Francis Promotes GH After Casting ShockerGeneral Hospital fans are still pretty unhappy about the iconic Genie Francis being bumped down to recurring status at the ABC soap opera after her character Laura Spencer was put on the backburner abruptly.

After the shocking casting news, Genie Francis’ manager made it pretty clear that the decision was not what Genie wanted, leading fans to think that she was treated unfairly by the soap opera.

Regardless of her demotion, however it all went down behind closed doors, Genie Francis is a class act and took to Twitter to promote GH.

In honor of the ABC soap opera’s remarkable `14,000th episode, which is quite an accomplishment, Genie shared an awesome snapback photo and congratulated the cast and crew on their success.  Check out Genie’s photo below and see if you recognize anyone!
