General Hospital Star Donnell Turner Lands New Job!

It looks like this General Hospital star’s career is on fire! There’s a new report that says Donnell Turner, who is best known for his role as Curtis Ashford on the hit show, has just landed a brand-new gig. How exciting!

Reports say that the handsome actor has landed a new role in the upcoming Amazon crime drama Too Old To Die Young. And it looks like Donnell can’t wait to get to work. Too Old to Die Young is written by Nicolas Winding Refn and Ed Brubaker.

The series will also star Miles Teller and Billy Baldwin. It is about a grieving police officer who, along with the man who shot his partner, finds himself in an underworld filled with working-class hit men. These include Yakuza soldiers, cartel assassins sent from Mexico, Russian mafia captains and even gangs of teen killers!

Speaking about his guest appearance, Donnell admits that his stint was a brief one, but he still appreciates the opportunity he was given. He told Soaps in Depth in a new interview, “It was maybe three lines, but I decided to do it for the exercise and to stay relevant to the casting directors. And I figured it’d be cool to have Amazon on my resume!”

Luckily, Donnell was given more than just three lines as he later revealed that producers gave him an additional eight pages from the script for his character. Too Young to Die is expected to premiere on Amazon sometime in 2019. We will definitely be on the lookout!
