General Hospital Star Chloe Lanier Speaks Out After Daytime Emmy Awards

General Hospital star Chloe Lanier is finally opening up about her Daytime Emmy Award! The actress, who plays manipulative Nelle in Port Charles, managed to bring home the gold in the Outstanding Younger Actress category this year.

Nelle says that it was a feeling that took awhile to process, but she’s both overjoyed and overwhelmed with all of the support she has been getting from her friends, family and fans. It’s safe to say that the win is one of the defining moments of her career as a daytime television actress so far.

“It has finally hit me and I couldn’t be happier,” she wrote on social media the following day. “Thank you all for your sweet messages and comments. Here’s a huge thank you to my acting coaches, both past and present.”

Chloe also offered her advice for other actresses who are looking to follow in her successful footsteps. “Stay in class,” Chloe said, according to ABC Soaps in Depth. “Keep coaching. Work hard. This business can be brutal and one thing I always try to remember is that as actors we have the ability to grow. Hard work, studying, and passion make all the difference in that growth. So keep growing And remember to be kind.”
