General Hospital Spoilers: Who Will Discover The Truth About Baby Wiley?

We all know the baby switch happened on General Hospital. Somebody will eventually figure it out in Port Charles. Who will be the first to discover the truth?

Julian Has A Picture Of The Real Baby Wiley

General Hospital’s Brad (Parry Shen) took a picture of Julian (William DeVry) with the real baby before Brad took him home. Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) baby and Wiley look nothing alike. People say all baby’s look the same but that isn’t true.

The weight of the babies could be different. Their lengths could be different. Brad and Lucas’ (Ryan Carnes) baby probably had its blood type recorded at birth. They say a picture is worth a thousand words. With the baby switch, it could be worth a lot more.

A Dead Baby Usually Means An Autopsy

Nelle comes to the hospital with a dead baby. Hospital protocol usually calls for an autopsy for unexplained death. Wiley wasn’t hurt so we know there is no trauma to the body. The only possible trauma would be from CPR administered by Brad.

An autopsy would also record height, weight and blood type. Some fans will remember an autopsy report leading to Danny (T.K. Weaver) being found alive.

Brad Knows The Truth

How long can Brad continue to lie to Lucas about the baby? Brad has to feel guilty about the switch. Brad also has to blame himself for Wiley dying before Lucas got to meet him. The more Brad sees Lucas and the baby together, the more guilty he’s going to feel.

Lucas is going to start to wonder why Brad isn’t as happy as he should be. The knowledge of the switch will always be over Brad’s head. Brad is always going to be looking over his shoulder.

The Baby’s Mother Has Thirty Days

What will happen if Wiley’s mother changes her mind? How is Brad doing to keep Nelle’s baby without telling the truth? Brad can’t stop the birth mother from changing her mind. Can Brad and Lucas let the baby go to a stranger?

Brad is not going to want Lucas to lose the baby, so he may come clean. Alexis has also seen this baby. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) knows the mother, she could certainly tell the truth.

Nelle Could Want Her Child

What if Nelle has a change of heart and wants her baby back? Nelle has not signed her rights away. Nelle never put the baby up for adoption. Nelle never gave Brad any type of custody of that baby. Lucas and Brad have no rights to this child. Nelle, on the other hand, can have a DNA test done and take the child.

Michael (Chad Duell) probably won’t figure this out. Unless the baby gets sick and needs blood or bone marrow, it may never come out. However, this is a soap opera and baby switches always blow up. It’s probably safe to say it’s a matter of time before the truth come out.
