General Hospital Spoilers: Who Is The Mystery Patient In The Next Room At Ferncliff?

Fans have noticed that things have been a bit off with Kevin since he was given Faison’s brain. Is something amiss with the good doctor or is he really Kevin Collins [Jon Lindstrom] at all?

Kevin Has Helped The People Of Port Charles For Years

Kevin has helped almost every in Port Charles at one time or another but he has certainly acted strangely the past few months. Kevin gave Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] an anti-anxiety medication immediately after seeing her the first time, then he doesn’t even call her when she doesn’t show up for a follow-up.

Kevin lets Franco [Roger Howarth] make appointments, then they stop coming, just to have him come back and then offer free sessions to him. Kevin doesn’t seem to be bothered that Laura is halfway across the world with Spencer.

He double talks when talking to Carly and covers for Jason Morgan [Steve Burton] while trying to get him to quit working at Ferncliff. Now, Kevin is acting really strange about the patient in the room next to Carly who keeps yelling for someone.

Could Ryan Still Be Alive?

Long-term GH fans remember years ago when Ryan came to town and was arrested for attempted murder. Kevin tried to rehabilitate him to no avail and Ryan ended up taking over Kevin’s life. Ryan even went as far as to kidnap Felicia’s daughter Georgie.

Ryan was supposedly killed in a funhouse explosion after Georgie was saved from him but Kevin has been haunted for years because he was not able to save his brother. As we have seen over and over through the years unless people walk into the light and are met by loved ones, there is no guarantee they are dead.

Imagine if Ryan is alive and has taken over Kevin’s life again, that would certainly explain Kevin’s off behavior and this new-found fascination with a mad man’s brain. It would also explain why Kevin feels so close to Franco and is so eager to help him, a serial killer helping a serial killer perhaps.

Then We Have The Ferncliff Patient

Why would this patient suddenly begin moaning and trying to get attention, we hadn’t heard a sound from this person until Jason arrived. Could this patient recognize Jason’s voice and be trying to get his attention? In that case, it would have to be someone who knows Jason Morgan is alive.

Kevin was certainly there when Jason came home, Morgan [Bryan Craig], as some have suggested, wasn’t. Sam  [Kelly Monaco] is acting more like herself now or we could assume it could be her, and Alicia is in her place, and we know Robin [Kimberly McCullough] is with Patrick safe in California. We have two known twins that could possibly be in the cell and that would be Anna’s sister Alex or Kevin himself.

If it is Kevin, who is going to solve this mystery and expose the fake for just that? Most Carly fans believe Kevin would have seen through this Nelle fiasco and known that Carly wasn’t guilty. How much longer can Kevin’s action go unnoticed? When will the person in the other cells be revealed?

Hopefully, by the end of summer, we will have answers and it won’t be too late to save Carly from Nelle and nutty nurse Mary-Pat as well as Rupert the watchdog.
