General Hospital Spoilers: Who Is Mary Pat & What Does She Have Against Carly?

It’s obvious that General Hospital (GH) Mary Pat (Patricia Bethune) has an issue with Carly, (Laura Wright) but what has Carly ever done to her? As far as we know Mary Pat and Carly have never had any interaction before so she has no reason to have a problem with her. Could Mary Pat be working for someone who wants Carly to stay in Ferncliff, or be killed even?

Monica Believes Nelle’s Lies

Could Monica (Patty McCormack) be the one having Carly so heavily drugged as payback for what she did to A.J. years ago? Monica has made it plain that she believes Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and that she will do anything to protect her. Maybe Monica has called in a few favors and has plans to keep Carly out of Michael’s (Chad Duell) baby’s life and to protect Nelle.

Could Kevin Have Something To Gain?

Kevin (Jon Lindstrom) has been acting strange for some time now. Could someone be forcing Kevin into keep Carly in drugged in Ferncliff? Is it possible that Kevin stole Faison’s brain and someone is using that to blackmail him? Is it possible that Kevin isn’t really Kevin but his “dead” brother Ryan and Carly saw something that tipped her off and that’s why she’s drugged?

A Closer Connection To Nelle

There has been no mention of Nelle’s mother only her father, Could Mary Pat actually be Nelle’s mother and she is drugging Carly to get revenge for Nelle? Could Mary Pat be in on Nelle’s plot to get money from Michael and Monica? Could Mary Pat believe Nelle’s lies and have no idea what she has been up to? Maybe she believes Carly knew about the kidney and wants revenge for hurting her child.

Black Market Organ Ring

Could Mary Pat have been one of the nurse’s that helped remove Nelle’s kidney and still be involved in black market organs? Maybe Ferncliff has been taking these patients and harvesting their organs after drugging them heavily. Other soaps have had similar stories so this would not be anything new.

It looks like it might be the end of summer before General Hospital’s Nelle is made pay for her many crimes. The question we must ask ourselves is can Carly make it until someone gets to the bottom of it? Hopefully Jason (Steve Burton) breaks her out and stashes her in a safe house somewhere until Nelle can be stopped.
