General Hospital Spoilers Wednesday, July 18: Nelle Suspects Michael’s Plotting – Obrecht’s Attack Stuns Franco – Julian’s Tough Blow

“General Hospital” spoilers for Wednesday, July 18, tease that Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) will grill Liz (Rebecca Herbst). At GH, Sam will note that they have questions about Franco (Roger Howarth). This must tie in with the Peter (Wes Ramsey) investigation and their efforts to catch Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati).

Sam will count on Liz to spill what she’s heard, but Franco will be busy tackling the problem. At the docks, he’ll insist that he knows what Obrecht’s been up to. Franco will urge Dr. O to let him help her, but she’ll choose a sneak attack instead. A recent promo shows Liesl whacking Franco in the head with something, so that should give her time to get away.

At the Wyndemere stables, Peter (Wes Ramsey) will keep trying to score his freedom. He’s tried just about every strategy he can think of at this point. Nevertheless, Peter will once again attempt to reason with Nina (Michelle Stafford). He’ll wonder what she’s really getting out of all this.

GH fans know Nina’s putting an awful lot on the line for Liesl’s sake. Peter just won’t get why Nina refuses to save herself. “General Hospital” spoilers say they’ll bicker a bit more, but danger’s looming. By the end of the week, Liesl will set the stables on fire – much to Nina’s dismay!

For now, Valentin will interrogate the bartender who moonlights as an actor. He’ll demand to know who this guy’s working for, so he may get the fake CDC agent to crack. Will this man point the finger at Nina? Regardless, Valentin is clearly hot on his estranged wife’s trail.

Other “General Hospital” spoilers say Julian (William deVry) will face a tough blow. He’ll fill Kim (Tamara Braun) in on some complications, so maybe he’ll be frustrated by the delayed permits. Jason (Steve Burton) made sure the Charlie’s Pub expansion plans came to a screeching halt.

However, this is only a temporary fix. Julian won’t let go of his big idea, so Jason and Sonny (Maurice Benard) will need another solution. Unfortunately, Sonny’s got bigger problems to deal with at the moment. He’s worried about Michael’s (Chad Duell) safety, so he’ll push his son to explain what’s in store for Nelle (Chloe Lanier).

Will Michael come clean or just urge Sonny to trust him? Chase (Josh Swickard) and Jordan (Vinessa Antoine) think Sonny and Carly (Laura Wright) need to stay in the dark. Michael may try to stick with that plan, but it’s not going to be easy.

Back at GH, Nelle will worry about what she overheard. She’s beginning to think Michael doesn’t love her at all. In fact, Nelle’s starting to suspect a setup! Of course, that’s exactly what Michael and Chase were hoping for. After Nelle spills her concerns to Chase, will she push him to take drastic action?
