General Hospital Spoilers: Vinessa Antoine Confirms She’s Off Contract At GH

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Vinessa Antoine’s life is about to change, but it’s definitely for the better. The Port Charles actress has just landed a groundbreaking role as the female lead for CBC’s new legal drama, Diggstown.

So what does that mean for her character Jordan Ashford on General Hospital? We’ve got the answers here.  Apparently, Vinessa is going to try and do double duty on both shows, but of course, it won’t be easy.

She took to her Facebook account to clarify a few things first. Vinessa wrote, “There are so many people that God put into place who are directly responsible for my time at @generalhospitalabc. You know who you are. I thank you. I came into this world as an artist. My job is to create and inspire. I hope that I did that a little in playing #Jordan Ashford.”

She goes on to say that she believes she’s taken her character as far as she can, but she won’t be able to go into in-depth storylines any more. Because Vinessa will be spending most of her time in Canada now, that means she won’t have the same amount of time to film her General Hospital episodes in Los Angeles and she will no longer be on full-time contract status.

This means that she will only be a recurring character and will only pop on from time to time.Of course, General Hospital fans would love to see Vinessa on daytime television, but they are also excited for her and the direction that her career is going in.
