General Hospital Spoilers Thursday, August 2: Sam Scores Ferncliff Proof – Lulu Searches for Nelle’s Accomplice – Griffin Busts Ava

“General Hospital” spoilers for Thursday, August 2, tease that Mary Pat (Patricia Bethune) will get some surprising visitors. She’ll seem taken aback when Curtis (Donnell Turner) and Sam (Kelly Monaco) show up. Perhaps they’ll impersonate lawyers or some other professionals working on this case.

Curtis will note they’re looking for information regarding Carly’s (Laura Wright) escape. He’ll call on Mary Pat to cooperate and Sam will back him up. Later, Sam will walk away with something crucial. She’ll manage to get her hands on Carly’s electroconvulsive therapy consent forms.

It appears Carly might’ve signed them while she was drugged. Then again, Mary Pat might’ve done it for her. She’s certainly capable of forging a signature. Mary Pat’s got a serious grudge, so she was determined to make Carly suffer.

Regardless, Sam will score the forms. That should leave Ferncliff with no proof of Carly’s consent. With any luck, Carly will never be locked up in there again. Jason (Steve Burton) will assure Carly of that at the safehouse, so she’ll just try to trust him.

At GH, Michael (Chad Duell) will be overwhelmed with grief. He believes his son is dead and that’s tearing him apart. “General Hospital” spoilers say Sonny (Maurice Benard) will provide support. He’ll urge Michael to lean on him during this difficult time. There’s no reason for Michael to go through this ordeal alone.

In Nelle’s (Chloe Lanier) room, she’ll reflect on everything that’s happened. When Kim (Tamara Braun) walks in, she’ll give Nelle updates on her health. It looks like Nelle’s doing just fine, so she’ll be released soon. Nelle will point out that as soon as Kim signs off, she’ll land behind bars.

Despite Nelle’s horrible behavior, Kim may find it in her heart to offer sympathy. She’s a good person – unlike Nelle! Over with Lulu (Emme Rylan), she’ll take Chase (Josh Swickard) home and keep pondering Nelle’s actions. Lulu will wonder what Chase thinks about a potential accomplice. She’ll have a hunch that someone helped Nelle along the way.

Of course, GH fans know Ava got roped into all this. She made herself Nelle’s partner in crime by stealing that blanket and keeping quiet. Ava certainly doesn’t want the truth to come out, so she’ll grab the evidence and go down to the docks. She may plan to ditch the blanket while she’s there, but Griffin (Matt Cohen) will stop Ava in her tracks.

“General Hospital” spoilers say Griffin will be out for a run when he finds Ava. He’ll ask what she’s doing, but Ava can be pretty crafty. She may throw Griffin off the trail, so this secret could stay under wraps for now. We’ll keep you posted as other news and rumors emerge.
