General Hospital Spoilers: Steve Burton and Maurice Benard Tease New Storyline

General Hospital spoilers indicate that actors Maurice Benard and Steve Burton have just leaked a hot new storyline. Apparently, it’s a tearjerker and one that fans won’t want to miss!

As viewers already know, the residents of Port Charles have just been rocked by a major earthquake. But it looks like the action won’t stop there. Both Steve and Maurice took their Twitter accounts to not only stop by and say hi to their fans but reveal that they have a very exciting storyline coming up.

Maurice wrote, “I’m blown away from a beautiful script I just read for General Hospital. Don’t ask me what it is because I can’t tell you.”

Clearly, General Hospital fans are dying to know! There is speculation that the new plot might have something to do with Maurice’s character Sonny and his ailing father, Mike (Max Gail). Sonny and Mike have always had a very hot and cold relationship but now that Mike’s mental health is deteriorating, Sonny is being forced to make a very important decision.

When asked if the storyline is going to make someone cry, Maurice simply answered that it will, but in a good way.

Also, Steve’s character Jason and his ex Sam (Kelly Monaco) seem to be growing close again. After all, they were stuck together during the earthquake. Sam was thankful to have someone like Jason by her side. As soap fans know, anything can happen at anytime. And for a lot of viewers, they’ve been waiting for the Jason and Sam storyline to happen. Of course, none of this has been confirmed by General Hospital executive producers. Fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
