General Hospital Spoilers: Ryan Paevey’s Comeback Clues – Nathan’s GH Return Looming?

“General Hospital” spoilers tease that a big comeback could be brewing. Ever since Detective Nathan West’s (Ryan Paevey) emotional sendoff, the fan favorite has been missed. Paevey was great in the role of this kind cop and husband. The loss was tough to accept, but there’s still hope for Nathan’s future on GH.

In fact, Paevey’s return could happen sooner than expected. Although nothing’s been confirmed, some huge hints were recently dropped on Twitter. GH’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, kicked off an exciting exchange with a poignant tweet. “Gone but not forgotten #GH Hero,” Valentin said. He paired the touching comment with a photo of Nathan’s PCPD business card.

Once Paevey saw Valentini’s message, he quickly hit the retweet button. He wanted to make sure “General Hospital” viewers were aware of it, so that could be a good sign. Paevey also replied to the tweet with a clue about his potential comeback. “In dreams, we can always visit the ones we love,” Paevey said. He added a winking smiley face, so do they know something fans don’t?!

 

That’s certainly a possibility to consider. Valentini and Paevey may have already worked out a deal for a few scenes. Maxie (Kirsten Storms) would definitely like a visit from her beloved hubby’s spirit right about now. Things have been brutal since Nathan’s sudden and tragic demise.

“General Hospital” spoilers say Nathan’s memory will be celebrated on April 3. His fellow officers will honor Nathan’s bravery and sacrifice. Maxie will undoubtedly have a difficult time dealing with all that. She keeps trying to let go and move on, but there’s always something that keeps her stuck in the past. A quick conversation with Nathan could help with closure.

After all, Maxie was able to speak with Georgie (Lindze Letherman) before Nathan’s funeral. There’s no reason why Maxie can’t have another chat with Nathan as well. Of course, it’s also possible that Paevey’s just saying he’s open to the idea of a return. In that case, it could take a bit longer to cook up.

That’s OK though! GH watchers know that Nathan would be worth the wait. Maybe he could come back for the birth of his child. It’d be awfully sweet if Nathan was able to watch over Maxie while she brought their little one into the world.
