General Hospital Spoilers & Recap Thursday, December 20: Liesl is Released - Willow Comes Face To Face With JulianGeneral Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, December 20 reveals Bobbie (Jackie Zeman), Lucas (Ryan Carnes), Brad (Parry Shen), and Wiley show up at Sonny’s (Maurice Benard).

GH Spoilers – Julian Picks Up Avery

Sonny tells Wiley it’s not official, but he can always think of him as the godfather. The guard’s call to say Julian (William DeVry) is outside. Julian is there to pick up Avery (Ava and Grace Scarola). Julian says that Avery is the only thing Ava (Maura West) has to hold onto right now. Avery starts to come downstairs, Jocelyn goes to her. Avery asks if she did something wrong.

Avery asks if her mommy is still sad about Kiki (ex- Hayley Erin). Carly (Laura Wright) asks Avery if she wants to see her mommy, she says yes. Sonny tells Julian not to leave Avery alone with Ava. Julian assures Sonny the nanny will be there the whole time. Bobbie thanks Sonny for not throwing Julian out, both agree that he gets on their nerves. Brad and Julian have a private conversation about him and Wiley. Avery comes downstairs; she is ready to go to her mommy. Julian promises to have her home soon.

General Hospital Spoilers – Wiley’s Naming Ceremony

General Hospital’s Sam (Kelly Monaco) is on the phone talking to Curtis (Donnell Turner) about the emails. Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) arrives at the door to get Sam. Alexis wants Sam to give them she apologizes for not attending. Alexis has to be in court today; Sam tells her she could have called. Alexis wants to know where Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth) is, and she wants to know how mad Kristina is at her. Alexis says she just asked, Sam, tells her she shouldn’t jump to conclusion or to be in the middle.

Sam arrives at Sonny’s, and Bobbie begins the naming ceremony. Sam talks to Wiley and tells him how much everyone cares about him. Michael (Chad Duell) becomes his son’s godfather. Michael steps outside, Jocelyn goes to check on him. Jocelyn says every happy moment make them think about people who aren’t here. Sam goes home and messages the Linda Black account back. Michae promises Lucas that if Wiley is ever in his care, he will treat him like his own.

GH Spoilers – Avery Plays Assistance Manager

General Hospital’s Chase (Josh Swickard) and Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) meet at Charlie’s for breakfast. Willow tells Chase she’s free all day. Chase asks Willow if she’s finished Christmas shopping. Willow likes to shop last minute; she doesn’t have much to buy. Chase has sent his parents gifts but still has things to pick up. Julian brings Avery to Charlie’s because Ava is taking a nap.

Julian tells Avery to play; she introduces herself to Chase and Willow. Willow and Chase introduce themselves to Avery. Avery remembers Chase. Willow comes face to face with Julian. Chase tells Willow kids to have a way of finding her. Julian takes Avery outside to meet the nanny. Willow says she will walk Chase to his car and maybe do some Christmas shopping. Brad sends Julian a picture of Lucas with Wiley; Willow catches a glimpse of it.

General Hospital Nina Is Happy To Be With Valentin

General Hospital’s Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) walk up in bed together. Nina tells Valentin she is late for a meeting with Maxie (Kirsten Storms) and has to go. Nina says she will be coming home to Valentin and thanks him for bringing Sasha (Sophie Mattsson) into her life, Sasha brought them back together. Nina blows off her breakfast meeting and starts kissing Valentin again.

Nina wants Sasha to visit for Christmas, Valentin says he needs to tell her something. Valentin starts to tell Nina the truth, Liesl (Kathleen Gati) stops him with a call that Peter had her released and promises to keep his secret. Nina asks who was on the phone, Valentin tells him it was Santa Claus. Nina and Valentin make love again, and he says he’s never going to let her go.

GH Maxie And Peter Discuss Liesl

General Hospital’s Maxie (Kirsten Storms) calls Nina who is late for a business meeting. Peter (Wes Ramsey) arrives and wants to make a date for their dinner. Maxie gets that text about Liesl’s transfer to Pentonville. Maxie tells Peter that he’s not surprised that Liesl flipped out, she has no friends. Maxie says Liesl is James’ grandmother and asks what she is supposed to tell him when he asks about his grandmother. Maxie tries to talk to Peter about James’ Christmas outfit, but he is distracted.

Peter has something to do and excuses himself. Peter signs a new statement and Jordan has to release Liesl immediately. Liesl goes to the Metrocourt and meets Maxie who is afraid she has escaped. Liesl tells her she can spend time with James now, she is free. Liesl cannot wait to see James but wishes he father could be there. Maxie tells Liesl that Michael will never know his son. Liesl questions about Michael’s girlfriend, Maxie tells her the baby was stillborn.

General Hospital Peter Recants His Statement

General Hospital’s Jordan (Briana Nicole Henry) puts Liesl in a room, and Finn (Michael Easton) and Anna (Finola Hughes) are there. Finn gives Liesl Britt’s (ex-Kelly Thiebaud) file to prove she is healthy. Jordan tells Liesl not to get any idea about escaping this time. Liesl tells Jordan they should know never to say never. Liesl says the accident wasn’t her fault. Peter arrives and wants to make a statement before Liesl leaves. Peter says he cannot trust his memory about what happened in the cabin.

Peter tells everyone that Liesl was a doctor and she saved him. Peter demands they let Liesl go. Anna asks Peter why he did that; Peter tells her that his ordeal showed him there was a better way. Maxie has shown him that forgiveness is possible. Peter tells Anna he tries to be the man Nathan (ex-Ryan Paevey) would have wanted him to be. Anna asks if kindness only exists for strangers or does he have some left for her.
