General Hospital Spoilers: Peter’s Dramatic Rescue – What Punishment Will Obrecht and Nina Face?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that the Wyndermere tack room will soon go up in flames, leaving Obrecht, Nina and Peter worried for their lives. A dramatic rescue will soon lead to even more dramatic consequences.

Valentin, Lulu, and Maxie will all head to the scene and when they arrive, they realize that it’s a desperate situation. General Hospital co-head writer Chris Van Etten recently told ABC Soaps in Depth in an interview, “Valentin, who is still deeply in love with Nina, throws himself into the fray immediately to try and save her, but the flames prevent Maxie and Lulu from getting inside.”

Luckily, Obrecht does escape, but her freedom won’t last for very long. Curtis catches up with her and drags her to the one place she belongs: the Port Charles Police Department.

Van Etten adds, “There’s an X factor here that may help to save both Nina and Peter, and that is Hamilton Finn. When he learns of the raging inferno at Wyndermere, he throws himself into the efforts to save the people trapped inside.”

Even though Finn gets Peter out of the stables, he’s not out of the woods, yet. He contacts Anna, but something about the tone of her voice doesn’t sit right with him. In the meantime, there’s an open question about what kind of punishment Obrecht and Nina should face. Van Etten says, “They have a different level of capability, and we will explore to what ends people who love them may go to absolve them of responsibility.”
