General Hospital Spoilers: Peter Pursues Maxie – New GH Couple?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Peter August [Wes Ramsey] is hoping to make amends with quite a few people in Port Charles, including his sister-in-law Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms]. Now that Obrecht’s plan has gone up in flames and everyone knows that he is Faison’s son, Peter is hoping to start over, but it won’t be easy. That’s because it’s pretty clear that he’s not the innocent victim here.

As a matter of fact, Wes Ramsey, who plays Peter on the hit ABC soap, says that his character is now more desperate than ever to not only start over in his life but find people that he can call his own family and friends.

After all, it’s something that he’s always longed for but never had in his life. That’s why he’s trying to reach out to Maxie and explain his side of the story as best as he can.

He told the publication, “There’s a lot of sadness and a lot of regrets. Peter obviously cares very deeply for her. The tragedy that brought them together and the intensity of the emotion in the aftermath of Nathan’s death was such a strong bonding experience. I don’t think Peter had any idea that was going to happen – nor did Maxie.”

What’s more, Peter also has a new outlook on life. His time in captivity certainly offered him a new perspective on his actions, after seeing how cruel Obrecht [Kathleen Gati] was. Does this mean that he’s turned a new leaf? Fans will find out soon enough!
