General Hospital Spoilers: Peter and Maxie Ready To Ignite!

General Hospital spoilers tease that the romance that has been brewing between Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and Peter August (Wes Ramsey) will soon ignite! Peter’s been taking it slow and easy with Maxie, continuing to be a supportive friend when she has needed him to be and backing off when she’s needed space or when she was mad at him. Still, he’s been open to wherever their slow-burning relationship leads to!

General Hospital Spoilers – Maxie Not Please Peter Going To Wedding With Nina

Maxie, on the other hand, has chosen not to date—at least not formally—and stay true to her late husband Nathan West (Ryan Paevey). However, feelings for Peter she’s been pushing down and denying for nearly a year may be about to explode and come to the surface! Maxie didn’t look real pleased, although she understood and accepted her boss Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford) inviting Peter to the Ashfords’ (Donnell Turner, Briana Nicole Henry) wedding.

Peter himself wasn’t sure whether to accept, although he finally did. There have been a couple of other times recently where she’s seen Peter with Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) that Maxie took on a distinctly greenish emotional tinge!

Maxie took a break from Peter even as a friend for quite a while when he was exposed as Heinrik Faison, the son of Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) and punished the son for the father’s sins as most in Port Charles did also at the time. However, she’s gradually accepted him back into her life as a friend and brother-in-law and has let him visit his half-nephew baby James (the Marciano twins) frequently, which he has greatly enjoyed.

GH Spoilers – Peter Has No Family In Port Charles

Peter hasn’t really had a family aside from Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and he’s been mad at him since he found out Valentin is the reason he wound up with his maniacal father! He’s not real fond of his newly acquainted half-sister Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thibaud) either, after reading up on her history, although he seemed to accept her thanks for “taking care of” their mutual father!

It has been a decent length of time since Nathan’s death for Maxie to start living again, and to move on with Peter. Peter’s been waiting in the wings, so to speak, for quite some time now. Peter hasn’t had any experience in the romance department, so it will be interesting to see how Maxie, who’s been around the romantic block several times, interacts with him when their romance takes off! She may wind up being the aggressor as opposed to him!
