General Hospital Spoilers: Nurse Mary Pat Isn’t Finished With Carly Yet!

General Hospital (GH) Nurse Mary Pat might be giving Carly (Laura Wright) plenty of hell behind the scenes at Ferncliff, but according to her portrayer, actress Patricia Bethune, she’s only getting started! General Hospital spoilers tease that Nurse Mary Pat isn’t going anywhere, anytime soon.

According to ABC Soaps in Depth, Patricia says that loves her new job at General Hospital, despite the fact that she is Port Charles’ newest resident villain. And while her character might be making Carly’s life a living nightmare, Patricia says that she can’t get enough of the professionalism of the cast and crew in Port Charles.

And while some fans might think that Patricia looks familiar, it’s because she actually did appear on General Hospital years before. But if you blinked, you might have missed her because it was a very minor role.

She told the publication, “Years ago, for a day or two as Jax’s assistant’s assistant. I think it was when he was first coming on the show in 1996. I gave a lot of exposition about who he was. It’s been years since I’ve been to daytime, and it’s changed dramatically. I’m so impressed with how much work gets done in a day.”

Now as far as what is in store for Nurse Mary Pat, Patricia isn’t giving anyone any clues. All she is willing to say is that as much as Carly wants to go home, it won’t be easy for her. In fact, it might be Mary Pat herself who will try and keep her at Ferncliff for as long as possible!
