General Hospital Spoilers: Nelle’s Daddy Issues Revealed – Frank Benson Still Alive?

General Hospital spoilers indicate that Nelle (Chloe Lanier) and Carly (Laura Wright) are in for a surprise. Apparently, there’s a strong possibility that their father Frank might be making a reappearance in Port Charles sooner rather than later. Carly is convinced that wicked Frank Benson is the person who brainwashed Nelle into the person she is today.

According to ABC Soaps in Depth, rumor has it that Frank’s resurrection could increase the tension that’s already present between Nelle and Carly. After all, Nelle has been doing whatever it takes to erase Carly from the picture. She truly believes that Carly is the one and the only person who is stopping her having true happiness in her life, and of course, being with Michael.

As a matter of fact, Laura Wright, who plays Carly on the hit soap, tells the publication, “Frank really did a number on her. When Carly talked about all the bad things Frank did, Nelle said, ‘He was just trying to take care of our family. He loved us.’ It was like you pulled the string and the doll talked. It was automatic Nelle had to train herself to believe so she could believe her father loved her.”

But then again, both Carly and Nelle are victims of the same man. If Frank does reappear in their lives, something might just end up exploding between them. And of course, it won’t be pretty at all.

Laura added, “There is a lot of pain, which only gives us another great element to play. If it were just pure hate, it wouldn’t be that interesting. I love that there are so many levels to their friendship.”
