General Hospital Spoilers: Nathan’s Death Pushed Dr Obrecht Over The Edge, Peter’s Life In Jeopardy

General Hospital (GH) Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) protected her son Nathan (Ryan Paevey) in every way possible from his father, Faison. (Anders Hove)  Peter August, (Wes Ramsey) Nathan’s half brother came to town and Nathan got killed by Faison, who was there to kill Peter. As a mother, she must feel that her efforts and time away from her son were for nothing.

Madeleine Raised Nathan As Her Own

Liesl gave Nathan to her sister, Madeleine (Donna Mills) to raise. Liesl had to see her child from afar to keep him safe from Faison. Nina (Michelle Stafford) and Nathan were raised as brother and sister and she loved him as well. Nathan after finding out Liesl was his mother, thought he was a Cassidine. In this incidence, a Cassidine would have been the lesser of two evils.

Nathan Wanted To Protect His Child

When Maxie (Kirsten Storms) got pregnant she and Nathan wanted what was best for the baby When Liesl wouldn’t tell Nathan the name of his father they ordered a DNA test to get the information they needed. They weren’t happy with their discovery and forced Liesl to be honest. Faison turned out to be Nathan’s father and their worst nightmare.

Nathan Agreed To Be Bait For Faison

Little did Nathan know that agreeing to do a story with Lulu would cause his death. Nathan had no idea what Peter had planned or that they were brother’s however, Peter did and did nothing to protect him. Peter used his knowledge to draw Faison out for Jason (Steve Burton) to kill. Liesl cannot get past the fact that Peter helped cause Nathan’s death and Anna (Finola Hughes) who has always been a rival being his mother doesn’t help.

Liesl Hates Anna And Her Son

All GH fans know Liesl hates Anna because of Faison’s obsession with her, Peter being Anna’s son seems to have pushed Liesl completely over the edge. Liesl has always been ruthless but nothing like this. It’s obvious that there is no reasoning with her, Nina has tried. Liesl seems to need someone to pull her back to sanity before Peter is as dead as Nathan and Faison.

Is Liesl Crazy Enough To Kill

The list of people who know Liesl has Peter may be about to get larger. Julian (William DeVry) and Kim (Tamara Braun) heard him screaming in today’s GH episode in the woods and Nina just went to see Drew about the flash drive. Any of them finding Peter could put them in grave danger because Liesl is just as lethal as the rattle snake in Peter’s bed. Could Liesl be crazy enough to kill them all to save herself? Next week will sure be an interesting one.
