General Hospital Spoilers Monday, August 20: Valentin Seeks Nina Daughter Details – Panicked Brad Turns to Julian – Chase Comforts Michael

“General Hospital” spoilers for Monday, August 20, tease that Madeline (Donna Mills) will get grilled by Valentin (James Patrick Stuart). He’ll want to know if Nina (Michelle Stafford) had a daughter, so perhaps she’s still got a long-lost child out there. By the time this chat wraps up, Valentin will have a new clue and a little hope for his future with Nina.

Elsewhere, Maxie (Kristen Storms) will be surprised by a promotion. Nina will let Maxie move up the corporate ladder, so Maxie will undoubtedly rise to the challenge. Over with Lulu (Emme Rylan), she’ll get an offer as well. Peter (Wes Ramsey) will attempt to poach Lulu for this staff at The Invader. He hopes to make it a reputable news source, but he needs writers like Lulu to set the tone.

“General Hospital” spoilers say Lulu will dismiss the idea, but Peter probably won’t give up. Maybe he can find a way to sweeten the pot pretty soon. Meanwhile, Brad (Parry Shen) will panic over the birth mom’s demands. She’s decided not to terminate parental rights, so she’s taking her baby back. Of course, only Brad and Nelle (Chloe Lanier) know that isn’t the birth mom’s baby at all!

Brad will decide he needs some help, so he’ll turn to Julian (William deVry) on Monday. He’ll start to spill his shocker, but Lucas (Ryan Carnes) will interrupt briefly. Afterward, Brad will seek Julian out again and admit that “Wiley” isn’t really Wiley. He’ll be desperate to fix this mess, so Julian will vow to pitch in. You can bet Julian will do everything in his power to keep the “Brucas” family together.

Until then, Lucas will fret over this heartbreaking situation. He’ll ask Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) what their options are, but she’ll point out there’s nothing they can do. If the birth mother wants her kid, they’ll have to honor the agreement. Alexis won’t see any strategy to stop this, but let’s hope Julian can get the job done.

Other “General Hospital” spoilers say Carly (Laura Wright) will question Sonny (Maurice Benard). She’ll notice he seems on edge, so it looks like he’ll fill her in on all the corpse chaos. Carly will be concerned, but Sonny will insist that he’s handling it. He’ll promise that he got rid of the evidence and will make every effort to keep it hidden.

Michael (Chad Duell) will have a rough time in Monday’s GH episode, but Chase (Josh Swickard) will provide some comfort. As Michael talks about burying his son, Chase will let him know he’s got a friend. Finally, Drew (Billy Miller) will frustrate Margaux (Elizabeth Hendrickson). She’ll call him a paranoid egomaniac, so he’ll probably be on her case about following him again.

Despite Margaux’s obvious scheming, there may be a genuine spark between them. Margaux and Drew should get things back on track, but will secrets eventually destroy their growing bond?
