General Hospital Spoilers: Mike’s Memories Reveal Shocking Secret – Sonny Rocked By News

General Hospital spoilers indicate that things aren’t going so smooth between Sonny (Maurice Bernard) and his ailing father, Mike (Max Gail). Now that they’ve finally gotten close, Mike’s memories are triggering some very strong reactions from Sonny.

It’s without a doubt that Sonny is facing one of the biggest challenges of his life: taking care of his father Mike while he deals with his Alzheimer’s Disease. And unfortunately, Mike is not getting any better.

But it’s when Mike’s memory of a certain place called Croton that makes Sonny very concerned. Up until this point, he wanted nothing but the best for his father, along with Carly (Laura Wright) and Michael (Chad Duell). But at the same time, Mike wasn’t always the most present and active father in his life. They have a back history and Sonny has always resented his father for not being there when he need him the most.

Chris Van Etten tells ABC Soaps in Depth, “The reason this particular mention of a New York City exurb hits Sonny is that it dates back to an assignment he undertook for Joe Scully years ago. And to Sonny’s knowledge, there is absolutely no way that Mike – who at best was in and out of his life at that time – could know anything about the assignment or what he did!”

More details about the deadly night will soon resurface, propelling Sonny in an entirely new direction. As much as he wants to be there for his father, this situation will take a very complicated twist. Simply put, Mike and Sonny’s relationship won’t be the same anymore.
