General Hospital Spoilers: Laura In Grave Danger – Ryan Thinks She’s On To Him

General Hospital spoilers tease that Ryan Chamberlain, (Jon Lindstrom) masquerading as his twin brother Kevin will think Kevin’s wife Laura Collins (Genie Francis) is on to his masquerade, putting her in deadly danger! In General Hospital previews for Monday, October 15th, Laura is very upset and confronts him with an outburst, “WHAT HAVE YOU DONE WITH MY HUSBAND?” It’s possible she starts that sentence with “WHO ARE YOU”! but not meaning that she knows Kevin is Ryan, just meaning Kevin is acting like a different person!

It’s easy to understand why Laura would boil over at the person she assumes is her husband with frustration! She expected a joyous, romantic reunion with Kevin and instead she gets a totally unexpected response to her homecoming. Laura was gone nearly a year staying with grandson Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Bechtel) in France, tending to him and his recovery from two broken legs.

Kevin and Laura had just gotten married when she left to take care of Spencer! Ryan is totally avoiding her bedroom-wise and in a scene at Kelly’s, she is surprised to see him eating a cronut, which he previously didn’t care for, and cuts her off in an important conversation when Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) and daughter Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) enter the restaurant, to call them over to the table!

At this point, Laura probably has no clue that Kevin isn’t himself literally! During the years of the Ryan Chamberlain crime spree, she, then-husband Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and son Lucky (then Jonathan Taylor-Thomas) were busy trying to avoid Frank Smith (Joe Cortese) and were getting to know Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard).

Ryan was originally killed off on March 23, 1995 in an explosion of a funhouse where his brother Kevin confronted him; or so GH viewers and Port Charles residents thought! GH history doesn’t show anything indicating Laura would have even encountered Ryan in those days, so she would have no idea that what “Kevin” is manifesting is Ryan’s personality!

Ryan, on the other hand, had to look up Laura on the internet to know she had been Luke’s wife in those days, so that would tend to prove that Ryan and the Spencer family had no contact back then. It’s possible the Spencers didn’t know about Ryan either, and were too busy to keep up with local news events.

Ryan seemed familiar with Luke but didn’t recognize Laura at all. However, he may still fear that somehow she recognizes he’s Ryan from her outburst, if for no other reason than assuming Laura had known about the article daughter Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) intends to write for “The Invader” from her!

General Hospital spoilers say there will be casualties from Ryan’s time in Port Charles, but GH may not have his current murder spree start until November sweeps; they may even show the first one on Halloween! Stay tuned to GH and check General Hospital spoilers frequently to see who lives, and who dies, and if Laura eventually figures out Ryan’s alive and impersonating Kevin!
