General Hospital Spoilers: Kevin Feels Hopeful- Hears Laura and Carly Talking About ‘The Mystery Patient’

General Hospital spoilers say that Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) will soon make a visit to Ferncliff together, mainly because Carly has decided to crusade for patient’s rights. But Carly is also intent on crusading for one particular patient’s rights… her old neighbor who kept tapping Morse code messages on the wall to her!

Carly knows that in normal circumstances that would be a cry for help, since he tapped “SOS” and that he was being held against his will, as she was at the time. Little did she know that the patient was the thought to be long dead serial killer Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom)!

Before the big switcheroo that Ryan pulled on Kevin, when Carly was still in Ferncliff herself and expressed concern for the mystery patient to Kevin, he warned her not to engage with him and that he was a very dangerous patient. To say he was “dangerous” was the understatement of the century! Ryan must have planned this escape for a very, very long time. He may have even learned Morse code to better impersonate his twin, who is an expert cryptographer; meaning the study and interpretation of codes and cyphers.

But Ryan had lost enough time while in Ferncliff to not quite get his impersonation perfect this time around; many of Kevin’s friends and certainly his wife Laura can tell there’s something off with him. They assume his strange un-Kevin like behavior is because of all the publicity going on about the twenty-fifth anniversary of Ryan’s murder spree in Port Charles; but since they think Ryan is dead, they have no clue that Kevin is literally not himself!

General Hospital spoilers also say Kevin will have a reason to feel at least a glimmer of hope: perhaps Laura and Carly will stop in front of his room and start talking about the mystery patient and Carly’s desire to help him. He has not been able to get through to any of the Ferncliff staff, not even the new staff, because Ryan educated them not to believe him when he tries to tell them what happened and that his twin is impersonating him!

Undoubtedly if Ryan gets a whiff of Laura and Carly’s plans he’ll make sure Kevin is unable to speak or cry out somehow, even though spoilers don’t indicate he will be sedated…after all, if he was sedated how could he overhear anything to give him hope?

It’s possible Nurse Mary Pat (Patricia Bethune) who will make an appearance on GH soon may play into this also. Other General Hospital spoilers say she may get in the way of Ryan’s plans, possibly believing Kevin and will cross Ryan and be his first victim. Laura and Carly will likely be among Kevin’s rescuers perhaps with some muscle involved from Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) at Carly’s behest, and possibly even some help from Franco (Roger Howarth) again with getting in and out of Ferncliff. Stay tuned to GH and keep checking General Hospital spoilers frequently to see how Kevin gets free, and if he will catch flak for trying to change and heal Ryan!
