General Hospital Spoilers: JaSam Reunion – Nothing Jason Morgan And Sam Can’t Overcome

General Hospital’s Sam (Kelly Monaco) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) have been through a lot.  After five years apart, Sam still loves Jason.  Their long-awaited reunion needs to happen now.

Sam Was Bored With The Safe Life

When General Hospital’s Sam was with Patrick (Jason Thompson) she was constantly chastised.  Patrick did not want Sam doing PI work.  Sam continued to take cases despite Patrick’s protests.  Sam actually stood up to Patrick and continued to work.

As a matter of fact, Sam helped Drew (Billy Miller), (then Jake Doe) constantly, against Patrick’s wishes.  Sam worked hard for that PI license and dangerous or not, that is her job.  Sam burst into a summit meeting when Sonny tried to leave the mob as well.

Sam also told Drew several times, when she thought he was Jason, he was free to go back to work for Sonny if he chose.   Sam also admitted that she felt smothered by Drew and the “safe life”.  Sam missed her old self and it was obvious.

Sam Never Cared About Jason’s Job

From the time Sam and Jason chose to raise Baby Lila together, his job didn’t matter. Jason made Sam feel safe from the beginning. Sam chose to raise Lila with Jason.  Sam chose to raise Hope with Jason.  Sam and Jason tried to have a child of their own afterward.  Sam had surgery to have a child and only wanted kids with Jason.

Sam Morgan is the one who talked Jason into staying in the mob in 2011. Sam has stated time and again, even after being shot, that Jason’s job did not matter.

Sam Continued To Help Sonny And Carly

General Hospital’s Sam helped by Sonny (Maurice Benard)  and Carly (Laura Wright) after Jason disappeared. Sam left Danny (T.K. Weaver) to find Morgan (Bryan Craig).  Sam spent time with Sonny when he was paralyzed and was there for Carly when dealing with Todd (Roger Howarth).  Sam was there to help after Franco (Roger Howarth).

Sam literally was going to shoot Franco herself and Sonny stopped her. Sam and Carly became genuine friends and respect each other.  Sam realizes that Sonny and Carly are family and feels the same about them. Let’s be honest, Sam loves the excitement and always has.

Julian As An Obstacle?

Please, Sam hates her father.  Sam knows he hid behind Danny and knows Julian (William DeVry)  placed her and Scout in danger.  Sam knows Julian poisoned Drew and also knows Julian hates Jason.  Sam knows Julian tried to kill her mother.  Sam would kill Julian herself if she could.

Why would anyone think Sam would mind if Jason killed Julian?  Julian would kill Jason if a heartbeat if he could.  Sam knows how the mob works.  Sam threatened to shoot Jason’s own father over him.  Sam would not be upset over Julian dying.

How Can Jason Be Judged

General Hospital’s Jason has never had the chance to be a father.  Liz (Rebecca Herbst) refused to let him be Jake’s father.  Baby Lila died, Baby Hope went to her great-grandmother.  Faison (Anders Hove) shot Jason before he could be a father to Danny.

The only child Jason got to be a father to was Michael (Chad Duell) and he turned out pretty good.  Jason has been a father figure to Michael all of his life.  Why would Jason’s instincts as a father fail him now?  Why would Sam doubt his instincts?  Sam McCall would not doubt Jason at all.

JaSam have always worked out their issues and they will now.  Sam and Jason belong together.  Jason should get to raise his son. There are no issues big enough to foil a Jasam reunion no matter what happens.
