General Hospital fans have basically been waiting for a Jason and Sam reunion since last year, when Steve Burton returned as the iconic fan favorite character.
But, the General Hospital writers seemed to have other ideas, and instead paired Sam up with her rumored real life boyfriend Billy Miller’s character Drew Cain.
After months of tip-toeing around the obvious and delaying the inevitable, Sam and Jason finally professed their love for each other. And, Sam even claims that she’s going to tell her husband Drew about her feelings for Jason.
The stage is finally officially set for a JaSam reunion. But, it most likely isn’t happening. And, if it does, it won’t be for quite some time down the road.
General Hospital head writers sat down with ABC Soaps In Depth to discuss the complicated love triangle. And, sadly, made it pretty clear that JaSam wouldn’t be riding off in the sunset together in the near future.
Head-Writer Chris VanEtten told the magazine, “Sam will be forced to make a choice, but once again circumstances and the universe have other plans for the three of them.”
