General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Finally Bonding With His Son Jake

It looks like Jason (Steve Burton) is finally getting the moment that he was long waiting for. According to new General Hospital spoilers, Jason will have an opportunity to bond with his son, Jake. (Hudson West) The moment will happen during Jake’s birthday, as Jason will share a very special moment with the boy that he helped bring into this world, but never claimed to be his own.

When Jason left Port Charles back in 2012, he presumed that the little boy was dead. That’s why he couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw Jake upon his return late last year. And while Danny (TK Weaver) has had no problems embracing him, it’s Jake who has been more distant and less adjusted to becoming his father. Up until this point, he acted like just an uncle to him.

And now Jason is trying to make all of his wrongs into rights by making up lost time. He wants to spend as much time as possible and wants to start by showing Jake just how special he is on his birthday. It’ll be interesting to see if Jake will open up to him and if they will be able to build a new relationship from this point forward.

Of course, the woman who helped bring back Jason to Port Charles is having her own difficulties reconnecting to her child. Ava (Maura West) now has her daughter Avery thanks to her new partial custody agreement, but so far it hasn’t been easy for her. Fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen!
