General Hospital Spoilers: How Will Nelle Exit GH?

Nelle Benson portrayer Chloe Lanier has announced her exit from General Hospital.  What would be your ideal exit storyline for Nelle?  General Hospital spoilers have Nelle involved in several frontburner storylines including sending Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] away, her ex’s unsolved murder, her pregnancy, and relationships with Michael [Chad Duell] and Chase [Josh Swickard].  Right now, anything is possible!

Conviction For Zack’s Murder And Imprisonment?

Chase (Josh Swickard) followed Nelle to Port Charles to prove she killed her fiance’ Zack.  Nelle fooled Chase in the original investigation and made him her biggest supporter. Chase followed Nelle to Florida to try and save her.  Chase supported Nelle, she slept with him and then reported him for inappropriate conduct to save herself.

Now, after salvaging his career, Chase has followed her to Port Charles and is determined to take Nelle down.  Chase knows what Nelle has done to Carly as well and he wants to take her down.  Does Nelle finally slip up and get caught in her own trap?  Is there some kind of proof in her possession that will convict her of Chase’s murder and put her away for good?

Will She End Up In Ferncliff Like Carly?

No revenge would be sweeter for Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) than for Nelle to be in Ferncliff.  Mary-Pat would have a new patient to torture and Carly would be home where she belongs. The ultimate storyline here would be both Morgan and Zack haunting Nelle to show how crazy she really is.

Michael could also push her over the edge by telling her the marriage proposal was a set up.  Once Nelle realizes how much Michael truly hates her she will go totally insane.  Ferncliff would be the perfect place for Nelle to spend the rest of her days.  Port Charles residents would be greatly at ease with Nelle locked up and off the streets for good.

Will Nelle Push Ava Too Far?

General Hospital’s Nelle has blackmailed Ava Jerome [Maura West]  into helping her gaslight Carly.  Ava isn’t too upset because she wants Carly out of the way.  However, if Nelle threatens Ava and Griffin’s [Matt Cohen] relationship too much, she could be in major trouble.

Ava has killed before to keep a secret and she would kill again. Ava is in no way a saint, but Griffin sees good in her and she won’t let Nelle ruin that.  Maybe Nelle pushes Ava too far and dies because of it.

Sonny Has Vowed To Make Nelle Pay

Sonny (Maurice Benard) is determined to make Nelle pay after the baby is safely delivered.  Carly has warned Michael to stay away from Nelle before he gets hurt or worse.  Michael has now proposed to Nelle.  Chad Duell has been quoted saying he didn’t think the writers were giving Michael a baby.  Could Nelle try to kill Michael and end up dying herself?  Maybe Sonny or Jason will be forced to take her out to save Michael. Maybe Nelle kills herself willingly, or at least fakes her death.

No matter how Nelle exits General Hospital, all Carly fans will be glad she is gone.  It will certainly be interesting to see what happens with the baby as well.
