General Hospital Spoilers: Has Peter Redeemed Himself – Respectable Citizen of Port Charles?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that many GH fans feel Peter August (Wes Ramsey) has redeemed himself, or at least has redeemable qualities; but should he be considered a respectable citizen of Port Charles – How do viewers of the ABC daytime drama feel about that?

Peter’s story is a unique one to say the least. We won’t drudge up too much of the past, but you have to admit Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) did start his path off in a very bad way by kidnapping him and forcing him to be raises by his biological father, Monster Cesar Faison (Anders Hove). Does this excuse all of Peter’s actions as an adult? No, but it might explain some of his mannerisms and mentality at the time!

General Hospital sources tease Peter has definitely paid the price for his actions when Dr. Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) took him and help him in that tiny cabin in the woods, deprived in virtually everything, humiliating him.

It may not come close to what Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) endured in the clinic; but you could see on Peter’s face that he now understood it all; the vulnerability, loneliness, even facing the possibility of dying. Those scenes were repulsive to some viewers but Peter’s portrayer, Wes Ramsey feels these scenes are what make for a good soap!

Back in Port Charles, Peter August is now being accepted by people, even family. He finds it humbling. He is beginning to build a relationship with his mother, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), He’s able to have a friendship with his sister-in-law, Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) and his nephew, James West.

Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) has agreed to work for him again and he has become her friend and confidant; although it remains to be seen if there will be anything else between Peter and either one of the best friends since both are single and they sure like to be in control on who Peter associates with.

General Hospital spoilers want to know two things, do you think Peter has paid for his crimes, redeeming himself? And who do you think he is better suited for – Maxie or Lulu?
