General Hospital Spoilers: Genie Francis In Talks To Return To GH?

General Hospital spoilers and comings and goings hint that fan favorite Genie Francis could be in talks to return to GH as the iconic character Laura Spencer.

It was recently revealed, much to fans and Genie’s dismay, that Laura Spencer was leaving Port Charles and the actress had been dropped to recurring status and was off contract.

General Hospital fans’ outcries were loud and clear.  In fact, GH fans were so upset that Genie actually had to take to social media and encourage everyone to cut Frank Valentini some slack – it was not his fault.

The General Hospital actress made it very clear that Frank Valentini wanted nothing more than to see her character on the ABC soap opera.  So, was that what they were discussing when they had lunch together this week?

Genie Francis shared a snapshot of herself with Frank Valentini and revealed that the two had a great lunch together.  Were they talking shop?  Could she and Frank be working together to get Laura back in Port Charles?  Or was it just a casual lunch between two friends?  The fact that Genie made a point of letting her fans know who she was with seems to point to a possible return.  What do you think?
