General Hospital spoilers tease that the Friday February 9 episode of GH will be a tough one to watch as Nathan West’s friends and family say goodbye to the popular soap opera character.

Ryan Paevey won over the hearts of General Hospital fans when he arrived in Port Charles as Nathan West 3 years ago.  The Port Charles cop began a complicated relationship with fan favorite Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] and after a tumultuous ride they finally got their happily ever after, only to have it ripped out from underneath them.

General Hospital spoilers tease that on Friday February 9, Nathan will get a proper police sendoff courtesy of his fellow officers.  Commissioner Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] delivers a powerful memorial, and even Officer Valerie Spencer is on hand to help carry Nathan’s casket.

According to the all new General Hospital preview video for Friday’s episode, fans can expect an emotional eulogy from Nathan’s sister Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford.]  Michelle and Ryan Paevey were also close in real life, and it looks like the actress put her heart and soul in to the scenes.
