General Hospital Spoilers: Finn Can’t Get Over Hayden – What About Anna?

General Hospital star Michael Easton says that his character Finn might never get over the one true love in his life, Hayden Barnes [Rebecca Budig].

Even though he has his heart set on Anna Devane [Finola Hughes] now, it’s Hayden that will always remain in his heart, whether he wants to admit to it or not.

Speaking to ABC Soaps in Depth, Michael said that despite moving on with Anna, his character will always remember Hayden and the baby that she lost back in September. That’s one of the reasons why Finn sometimes looks like he is so deep in thought. Even though he’s focused on the present day, it’s the past that he can never forget.

“Every day I’ve been on camera, I have thought about the baby at some point,” the actor told the publication in an interview. “Anytime Finn is staring off or distracted as someone walks up on him, that’s what he’s thinking about.”

Michael also said that he loved working with actress Rebecca Budig on their character’s romance. It was a popular storyline for everyone involved.

“That was an incredible storyline, emotionally,” Easton confided. “Finn was so self-involved, and all of a sudden, somebody pulled him out of that. He was going to get married and have a child. He got caught up in a wave… and to have it come crashing down so quickly, he’s devastated. It’s something he may never get over.”
