General Hospital Spoilers: Election Day Drama – Someone Plays Dirty, Drops Scandalous Alexis’ Info

General Hospital spoilers indicate that there is plenty of Election Day drama ahead for Port Charles’s special mayoral race. Ned (Wally Kurth) and Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) are facing off in what will definitely be a cutthroat race.

Ned is confident that he has a good chance of winning. That’s because he sees himself as the stronger candidate of the two. Also, he’s got a game plan that he’s certain will work out well for him.

As a matter of fact, actor Wally Kurth, who plays Ned, tells ABC Soaps in Depth, “I think Ned is feeling a little more optimistic not having to face the iconic Laura Collins. He knows his opponent, Laura, so I think he feels like he as sort of a clear path in what he needs to do. Of course, Alexis has a superior ground game, has people knocking on the doors and getting people to the pools.”

Wally added, “So, Ned’s a little scared and he actually hides out at the Q mansion. He prepares both a victory speech and a concession speech and tries to be gracious and humble in both victory and defeat.”

Also, Wally says that Ned is looking for a good, clean fight but he’ll be surprised to find out that it won’t work out that way. That’s because someone is about to play dirty. A scandalous article about Alexis will drop while the polls are still open. The piece is about her connection with Julian (William DeVry) and organized crime. But who will be to blame? Of course, fans will just have to tune in to find out what will happen next!
