General Hospital Spoilers: Could The Trail To Obrecht Lead To Cassandra And The Mystery Cassadine?

General Hospital spoilers tease that the WSB search for Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) may lead to more than finding Liesl! Could she have found employment with a mystery Cassadine treating Cassandra Pierce (Jessica Tuck) in a previously unknown clinic?

General Hospital viewers should see that there are two and perhaps three mysteries here that may work together to provide a common conclusion. Liesl has worked with the Cassadines before, most recently in the Crichton-Clark clinic where Nina Reeves Cassadine (Michelle Stafford) spent part of her coma.

All Roads Lead To Crichton-Clark

This is not surprising considering Liesl is her aunt. Victor Cassadine (Thaao Penghlis) was the head of the WSB at that time and also held a vested interest in the clinic and all its goings-on. This clinic, as well as the Swiss clinic where GH fans first became acquainted with Liesl Obrecht specialized in experimental, non-traditional medical procedures including bringing the pseudo-dead out of stasis. The Crichton-Clark clinic blew up and supposedly Victor with it, after Liesl shot him; however General Hospital never showed a body.

Even though Liesl returned to Port Charles dressed as a homeless person to attend her sister Madeline Reeves’ (Donna Mills) funeral, she knew she couldn’t hide in plain sight forever. The message from Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) to Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) that was ultimately delivered by Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard)  indicated the WSB had a lead on Liesl, and she had gone outside of PCPD jurisdiction.

Who Is The Mysterious Cassadine Man

Considering the WSB is an international intelligence agency, she could be almost anywhere! Previously, Scorpio had been hunting Cassandra after she was taken from the Canadian clinic where Anna had been held hostage. The last time GH viewers saw Cassandra, she was in a car and still very ill, although conscious….with her hand being patted by a male hand bearing a Cassadine ring! Who could this mystery Cassadine be?

We can be sure it wasn’t Valentin, he despises Cassandra, and besides, he’s busy looking for Nina’s daughter,  trying to win Nina’s heart back. Plus he has Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez) to protect, and even more so since mom Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) is on her own after Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamandprogna) was drafted by the WSB!

Perhaps the search for Liesl will solve the mysteries of where Liesl herself is, what happened to Cassandra, and the identity of the mystery Cassadine….time will tell! Keep watching GH and checking General Hospital spoilers frequently to see what happens!
