General Hospital Spoilers: Chloe Lanier Hints That Nelle Will Be Back

When it comes to the world of soaps, many fans know that it’s never over until it’s really over. As a matter of fact, actress Chloe Lanier, who is getting ready to say good-bye to her character Nelle Benson on General Hospital, hints that her story might not be over yet.

In fact, she teases that Nelle might indeed return to General Hospital in the future, and sooner than anticipated.  Nelle has been one of the most vicious schemers that Port Charles has seen in years. And according to the actress, it’s a role that she’s loved playing since day one. That’s why she’s open to returning, should the show’s producers find room for her in an upcoming storyline.

“I love this character,” she declared. “She isn’t done yet. Nelle isn’t dead. She isn’t done.”  Chloe also said that she always knew that Nelle was troubled, but not to this extent. With that being said, her feelings for Michael were always genuine. At least, that’s what Chloe believes about her character. That’s why Nelle did whatever it took to bring him back into her arms, regardless of what the other members of the Corinthos family had to say about it.

“She spent months fighting to get back with him,” the actress explained. “She loved him until he showed his true colors. That stung. It was incredibly emotionally and physically demanding, but I loved it.”
