General Hospital Spoilers: Chase, Willow, Michael Love Triangle Brewing?

General Hospital spoilers tease that a triangle could soon form between Detective Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) and Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen). Chase and Michael had started to have a cute bromance, but interest in the same woman could definitely put a crimp in that!

According to General Hospital spoilers, Chase beat Michael to the punch by getting Willow to agree to a date with him, although he really had to push hard to get through her defenses.

General Hospital Spoilers: Michael And Willow Bond

General Hospital viewers know that Willow is in the same grief counseling class for parents who have lost children as Michael, but we don’t know yet if she also may be grieving a husband or baby daddy who passed away as well. If she is, that would account for her not being quite gung-ho on jumping into the dating scene with Chase, or possibly anyone else! Maybe she and Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) should connect as well!

It is a common soap opera theme for either two women to have a man come between them, or two men have a woman come between them, although it is more common to have two women as the rivals. Therefore, this possibility with the storyline should not be surprising.

Michael had resisted attempts at matchmaking recently, even with Francesca Cavallo (Celesta DeAstis) whom he had once seemed extremely attracted to. Could that be because Michael is more interested in and attracted to Willow on General Hospital? Was he really thinking of planting seeds of romance when he came with a huge box of seeds for Willow’s garden?

Chase may be attractive to Willow, and as a General Hospital policeman, she may feel safe with him if there are any other issues in her past she is dealing with where she didn’t feel safe. General Hospital viewers are just getting to know Willow, so we don’t know yet what she has been through.

General Hospital Spoilers – Michael And Chase’s Bromance Over?

On the other hand, Michael and Willow may form a deeper bond based on shared experiences of loss of a child. Those types of bonds can be dysfunctional and harmful if they are only based on shared grief, but a deep friendship could grow into something more permanent if things are taken slowly.

Will Willow break up Chase and Michael’s friendship, or will they only engage in a friendly competition for her? Or will Willow have non-serious friendships and companionship with both of them? Only time will tell, keep watching GH and checking General Hospital spoilers frequently to see if this will be a romantic triangle or just a “Three Musketeers friendship”!
