General Hospital Spoilers: Anna Devane’s Behavior Has GH Fans Scratching Their Heads

General Hospital’s Anna Devane [Finola Hughes] claims to love her son and not want him in WSB custody, she even threatened to shoot Jason Morgan over Peter [Wes Ramsey].  This being considered, why would Anna not make a single phone call to check on her child?  Are we the only ones who have an issue with her “I didn’t want to be tempted” excuse?

An Anonymous Adoption

It is true that Anna had no idea who her son was placed with, but she is a WSB agent.  If Valentin Cassadine [James Patrick Stuart] could find Heinrik, why in the world couldn’t his mother?  If Anna cared so much for her child she would have contacted the midwife and gotten a status update if nothing else.   It wouldn’t have set off any red flags for the midwife to inquire about the child she placed, and why would Anna not be worried that Faison would eventually find him?

Valentin Knew About The Baby

Another question we must ask is how did Valentin find out about the baby?  Anna managed to hide this child from everyone BUT Valentin, which makes no sense at all.  Why would Valentin jump to the assumption of a pregnancy?  Since Valentin didn’t know about Alex, could he have thought the baby was his originally?  If so, how in the world did he figure out that Faison was the father?

More Holes Than Swiss Cheese

These writers honestly need to tie up some loose ends because this story has more holes than baby swiss cheese.  If Valentin could figure all this out and give Peter to Faison, why in the world could Anna not one single time check on her child that she was so desperate to protect?

Anna Going To California To Tell Robin

Does Robin Scorpio-Drake [Kimberly McCullough] not look at social media?  How on earth could she not know by now that Peter is Heinrik?  Anna is also making no attempt to hide the fact that she is Heinrik’s mother.  Did Drew not put out a press release on Peter, did he omit the mother’s identity in this?

The PCPD and the WSB all know this information by now, has Robert got them all to keep this quiet until Robin is told?  Have other social media outlets not picked up on this story by now?  Chances are Robin already knows she has a brother and Anna has to do damage control.
