But before you get upset, don’t worry, as she only plans on taking a break from the daytime television show temporarily. In fact, the actress, who plays Anna, says she will be back sooner rather than later!
Anna was last seen in Port Charles back on June 25, when she was presumably kidnapped en route to the airport. And while no one knows where Anna might be right now, one thing is for certain: she will be back. That is, right after Fiona takes a much-needed break and vacation with her family.

Fiona recently tweeted to her fans, “See y’all on the flip side of summer! Please spend time with your families and have fun! And sunscreen, plenty of broad spectrum sunscreen….!!!”
In other words, everyone can breathe a sigh of relief. As much as we will miss seeing Finola on the small screen in the coming weeks, her vacation is well deserved. After all, the English-born actress has been on General Hospital since 1985.
It’s safe to say that she’s had a fantastic run so far. And while no one knows what the future might hold for her character Anna, everyone will be crossing their fingers for her safe return. With all the drama with Henrik and Peter, she’s had enough to deal with in the last year!
