General Hospital Spoilers: ABC To Air Special Sonny and Carly Episode

It looks like General Hospital viewers are in for a special treat. The highly-rated ABC soap will soon be broadcasting a classic Sonny and Carly episode, much to the delight of their fans. Here’s what you need to know.

According to Soaps in Depth, General Hospital will continue to air new episodes throughout the week of Monday, November 19th. The show will also air its Thanksgiving Day themed episode on Monday, November 26th.

But it’s Thanksgiving Day, Thursday November 22, that fans will be in for a real treat. That’s when the network will air a throwback episode of Sonny and Carly that was originally aired back in November 27, 2000.

During that episode (which many General Hospital fans can refer to as #9,657), Sonny will have to deal with Laura after he returns home to a disappointed Carly. He will provide her with comfort and cheer following the news of a new partnership that was made with Deception.

Many fans can recall that this was the first Thanksgiving episode that Sonny and Carly shared together as a couple. And as we all know – the rest, as they say – is history.

These days Carly and Sonny definitely have different things to worry about. Sonny has been going head to head with Port Charles DA Margaux Dawson. Carly, meanwhile, is still trying to pick up the pieces of her life after she spent several months at the Ferncliff mental institution. She’s also very close to finding out the real identity of Brad and Lucas’ adopted child, baby Wiley.
