General Hospital RUMORS: Valentin Takes Down Ryan, Saves Nina!

General Hospital spoilers tease that there may be an upcoming showdown between Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) over Nina Reeves (Michelle Stafford)! As General Hospital viewers know, Ryan is partial to pretty blondes both as paramours and victims, and his current MO may be targeting and drawing them into his confidence and into danger as patients, thinking they are telling their deepest secrets to Dr. Kevin Collins!

Even though Nina has been given some hope of at least a casual relationship with her newly discovered daughter Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) thanks to Valentin, General Hospital spoilers say that Sasha will ultimately devastate Nina by refusing any relationship with her.

Nina has been over the edge before, causing Ava Jerome (Maura West) to go into labor with daughter Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) and going on the run with her as a baby, who she named Jaime. Her then close friend and eventually boyfriend Franco Baldwin went on the run with her out of concern and protectiveness of both Nina and Avery, but the escapade ultimately led to a stint in Shadybrook Sanitarium and Avery was rescued and returned to Port Charles.

Rumors have been flying for several months that Valentin could be a victim of Ryan, but there has been no indication that James Patrick Stuart is leaving GH, or that he wants to. He frequently mentions GH on his social media accounts, and quite often Michelle Stafford and their onscreen “Valentina” relationship.

That doesn’t sound like an actor ready to leave a role! General Hospital spoilers do say that Ryan’s time in Port Charles will eventually come to an end, but not without casualties; it’s very possible that Ryan himself will become a casualty caused by someone either out for revenge for a victim of Ryan, or by someone being a hero coming to the rescue of someone Ryan has held captive.

Given Nina’s past emotional and mental fragility, Sasha’s rejection of her after giving her some hope for a relationship may push her if not over the edge, at least into Dr. Kevin Collins’ care; or whom she assumes is Dr. Kevin Collins, along with the rest of Port Charles, although some already are having unvoiced suspicions.

This could create a scenario where Ryan could hold Nina captive for some reason. Perhaps even if Nina does initially have a couple of sessions with the “doctor”, because of all the publicity Ryan will receive from paparazzi other than “The Invader” she may be savvy enough to recognize that Kevin may not be Kevin, and possibly bring up his past history of impersonating his twin.

This in turn would make Ryan nervous about exposure and this would be enough for him to want Nina’s mouth shut – permanently! And of course Valentin would go berserk if he thought Nina was in danger from the likes of Ryan Chamberlain, once he learns his history. It would not surprise GH viewers if Valentin were to rid Port Charles of Ryan in the process of rescuing Nina from him!

It is worth noting that act may redeem Valentin in many Port Charles residents’ eyes. Other General Hospital spoilers tease Ryan’s new crime spree may begin around Halloween, so keep watching GH and checking General Hospital spoilers frequently to see how this dramatic storyline ends!
