General Hospital RUMORS: Sam Leaves Town To Find Dirt on Margaux, Makes Shocking Discovery

General Hospital rumors tease DA Margaux Dawson (Elizabeth Hendrickson) may have a big surprise coming her way soon, thanks to intel found by Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco). Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) sent Damian Spinelli (Bradford Anderson) on a dirt digging mission to show Margaux her father wasn’t the saint she thinks he was.

Spinelli was henpecked by Ellie (Emily Wilson) his soulmate, to go on a trip so he farmed the job out to Sam, with an ulterior motive of getting the Dragon and Phoenix back together of course. For those GH viewers who haven’t been watching the show for very long, when Sam and Jason got married it was actually in the garden of a Chinese restaurant, and the Dragon and the Phoenix were little symbolic trinkets that represented Jason and Sam, respectively.

What Sam discovered, in a public library of all things, were some old newspaper stories with pictures of some parties that Vincent Marino and his wife attended, with baby Margaux in some of them. Sonny recognized Mrs. Marino, Margaux’s mother, as the mistress of Joe Scully, Sr.!

It’s entirely possible Margaux’s father wasn’t even Vincent Marino, but Joe Scully, Sr. instead! The dirt digging mission was to find dirt on Margaux’s father, but it looks like her mother was the one with the dirt! So the focus may need to change to discrediting Margaux’s mother to her instead of her father! But how will they prove Sonny’s knowledge about her mother to Margaux?

Sam will be going out of town soon according to other General Hospital spoilers; whether this is associated with this case or for personal reasons is yet to be seen. General Hospital viewers who are also fans of Kelly Monaco know the reason for sending Sam out of town is probably Kelly’s hip surgery, which was actually performed in August.

They may have Sam going to New Jersey to dig up more information on Mrs. Marino, Scully Sr., Vincent Marino to bring proof back to Margaux about the dirt on her parents.
