General Hospital RUMORS: Carly Babysits and Sees Quartermaine Birthmark On Wiley, Brad Terrified!

General Hospital rumors tease that there may be a need for Wiley Cooper Jones (portrayed by unnamed twins) to be babysat, with no one available except one of the Corinthos family! Brad Cooper Jones (Parry Shen) has been going out of his way to avoid much contact with anyone on the Corinthos/Spencer side of Lucas Jones’ (Ryan Carnes) adoptive family.

He’s not so concerned with the Jerome relatives among Lucas’ natural family, having become close with Julian Jerome (William DeVry) who has become his confidant and in some cases, helper-or perhaps that should be “enabler”!

Brad, of course, is afraid someone in the Corinthos or Quartermaine family may recognize things about little Wiley that remind them a little too much of Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) who of course is really Wiley’s father, since Wiley is really Jonah Corinthos. It has already been noted by Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) that Wiley had a mild case of the same heart defect that Michael did as a baby!

But he might not have a choice but to allow one of the Quartermaines or the Corinthoses to have close contact with Wiley, even if for only a work shift. The nanny could call in sick at a time when both Lucas and Brad have to work, and neither can get a day off. Sam McCall, (Kelly Monaco) normally may be an option but she’s getting ready to go out of town.

Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman), Lucas’ adoptive mother may not be available at the last minute either, and Brad won’t want to drop Wiley off at any old day care at the last minute. So that might mean Carly is the only option to save the day!

So far, anything reminiscent of Michael in Wiley has been chocked up to coincidence. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) has even checked Wiley concerning his minor heart condition and only remarked that Michael’s father, AJ Quartermaine (Sean Kanan) had the same one after Carly remarked that Michael had it.

However, Monica was quite confident that Wiley would outgrow the condition as he got older, and it was so minor that it was nothing to worry about. However, there could still be something about Wiley that was not seen during his heart checkup that would be very familiar to both Monica and Carly, and a dead giveaway that Wiley is really Jonah—the Quartermaine birthmark!

Long time General Hospital viewers will recall that there was a question about AJ’s paternity; Monica had been cheating on her husband, Dr. Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) with Dr. Rick Webber (Chris Robinson). She thought AJ was Rick’s child until after baby AJ’s surgery for the heart defect (which Rick performed!) and only later realized AJ was Alan’s, after noticing AJ had the same birthmark that Alan did!

Later, blood tests confirmed the paternity. Michael also inherited the heart condition and possibly the birthmark as well, although it has never been mentioned in historical GH recaps.

Carly may be aware of the Quartermaine birthmark; Monica definitely is and Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) might be and Michael Corinthos would be as well, especially if he too has it! It may be in a hidden place on baby “Wiley” and discovered during a diaper change! That would be too much of a coincidence for anyone to believe!

It is true Brad was trapped into this situation by nasty Nelle (Chloe Lanier) who could still bust him to Michael and put the whole blame on Brad: which would lose him Lucas for sure! She may even find a way to worm herself out of prison and want her baby back, causing an ugly custody battle between all of them! No wonder Brad is so nervous!
