General Hospital RUMOR: Jonathan Jackson Returning To GH?

General Hospital spoilers and rumors hint that a fan favorite may be returning to GH.  Is Jonathan Jackson headed back to Port Charles as Lucky Spencer now that his primetime drama Nashville is over?

The cast and crew of CMT’s Nashville, formerly on ABC, took to social media this week to reveal that they have officially wrapped filming on the final episodes of the country music drama.  Showrunner Connie Britton actually already left last season when her character Rayna was killed off.

General Hospital fans watched Nashville religiously to support Jonathan Jackson, although we never gave up hope that that he would return to GH some day.  And, his schedule is wide open for a Lucky Spencer return now.

Jackson left GH back in 2011, although he did return for a few episodes in 2015.  Sadly his return was brief.  And, fans have been clamoring for a more permanent return ever since.

Jonathan is not just a talented actor though, he’s also a musician, and in a popular band called Enation.  Enation is currently on tour and promoting their last album.  But, there’s no reason Jonathan couldn’t work on his music and his soap opera career.
