General Hospital RECAP Wednesday, September 19: Wiley Needs A Specialist, Nina Warns Ava

General Hospital’s Wednesday September 19 recap begins with Valentin (James Patrick Stuart) meets with Curtis (Donnell Turner) and shows him the DNA swab.

Valentin Wants Results

Curtis tells Valentin that it took some wrangling, but Sasha (Sofia Mattsson) wants to prove she isn’t Nina’s daughter. Valentin pays Curtis, and he tells Curtis to send off two sets of tests.  Curtis wants to know when they tell Nina.  Valentin wants to wait for proof.

Maxie And Nina Discuss Peter

General Hospital’s Maxie (Kirsten Storms) starts to leave Nina (Michelle Stafford), but she demands details about the elevator. Maxie tells Nina that Peter (Wes Ramsey) had a PTSD attack in the elevator. Maxie tells Nina that Peter has helped her too.  Nina realizes that Peter is a walking, talking a gray area.  Nina wants to make sure that Maxie doesn’t have feelings for Peter.  Peter had no expectations of Maxie; she had begun to rely on him.

Maxie questions if its right to blame Nathan’s death on Peter.  Nina feels compassion for Peter, Maxie is glad she feels for him.  Maxie says when you put down the pain and anger, you start to heal.  Nina questions of Maxie can continue to be friends with Peter now.  Maxie leaves agreeing to meet Nina at the office. Nina waits for Ava (Maura West) to come out and tells her that was quite a scene. Nina tells Ava if she doesn’t change, she’s going to run out of second chances with Kiki (Hayley Erin).  Ava furiously tells her to butt out.

Lulu Advises Peter To Back Off

General Hospital’s Lulu (Emme Rylan) starts giving Peter her demands on the article.  Peter agrees that respect must.  Peter wants to reach out to the victims.  Lulu brings up that Felicia (Kristina Wagner) is Maxie’s mother. Lulu warns Peter about using Felicia. Lulu tells Peter that Maxie is confused enough.

Peter asks if Maxie is willing to be friends again.  Lulu tells Peter to stay away from Maxie.  Peter appreciates Lulu looking out for Maxie. Maxie wants to join Peter and Lulu.  Peter leaves and gives Maxie his chair.  Maxie doesn’t understand why Peter just bailed. Lulu says he is getting out of Maxie’s life as she wanted.

Griffin Moves Into Kiki’s Building

General Hospital’s Kiki and Griffin (Matt Cohen) talk at the hospital.  Griffin goes to his meeting only to find it postponed.  Griffin has barred from church participation.  Griffin and Kiki know Ava is behind this call. Griffin could not get confirmation of the actual caller.

Kiki apologizes to Griffin. Griffin’s faith is his own even if he can’t participate in rituals.  Lucy (Lynn Herring) tries to push Griffin into taking an apartment he can’t afford.  Lucy tells Griffin there is a pain on both sides of cheating.  Lucy offers to show Griffin another apartment. Griffin takes an apartment in Kiki’s building.

Alexis Doesn’t Want Kristina Working At Charlie’s

General Hospital’s Alexis (Nancy Lee Grahn) asks Julian to look out for Kiki.  Julian tells Alexis she doesn’t want Kristina working with him.   Julian doesn’t think Alexis should judge Ava. Alexis wants to know why Julian hired Kristina. Julian tells Alexis that Kristina is good at what she does.  Julian saw hope in Kristina’s eyes.  Alexis saw that look as well.  Alexis is upset that Kristina doesn’t share with her.  Julian offers to keep an eye on Kristina for Alexis.

Carly And Michael Babysit

General Hospital’s Carly (Laura Wright) hears Michael (Chad Duell) on the phone talking about the Chicago.  Carly asks Michael if he’s moving to Chicago. Michael explains that he’s sending a vice president to Chicago.  Carly tries to tell Michael how to deal with his grief. Michael thanks Carly but he has to do this on his own.  Michael tells Carly he doesn’t need counseling. Carly tells Michael he needs to lean on his family.

Lucas (Ryan Carnes) is there with Wiley. Michael asks about the baby. Michael and Carly babysit Wiley for Lucas. Michael feels more like an uncle to Wiley than a cousin. Michael says Nelle was right about one thing, Wiley gives him peace. Michael leaves after giving Wiley back to Lucas. Wiley’s doctor sees something troubling in his test.

Kiki Slaps Ava

General Hospital’s Julian wants Ava to help him with the renovations at Charlie’s. Ava can’t believe the Sonny willingly let Julian stop selling his coffee. Ava and Alexis wonder if Julian is keeping something from them.  Julian explains to Alexis that the skeleton had been there for decades.  Alexis doesn’t like Kristina working there.

Kiki confronts Ava over calling the church officials.  Ava asks if Kiki and Griffin say prayers together before hitting the sheets. Kiki slaps Ava across the face. Ava claims that Griffin caused his problems.  Kiki asks what’s next Ava tells her to stay away from her lovers. Kiki tells Ava to stay out of her life, and she will do the same. Julian tries to defuse the Ava situation to no avail.  Nina advises Ava to talk to Kiki before its too late.
